Patricia Miller, the artist's grandmother, is an environmental activist, a community-engaged Unitarian Universalist and a retired librarian who co-founded anti-nuclear, pacifist group Mothers for Peace. The exhibition Bewilder | Be Wilder at SLOMA was dedicated to her.
