These five approximately 20 inch tall maquettes—which were created to determine the final form of the 7 foot tall piece—each looked at crookedness in a different way. The final sculptural work and the maquettes will both be part of the 3rd Terrain Biennial, which officially opens in October 2017. The final work lives in the cattle-country of northeastern Arizona and the maquettes will be displayed in Chicago.
