Hi-Vis: 10 Years of Public Art at the Buffalo AKG Art Museum
Curated by Aaron Ott, Curator of Public Art; Eric Jones, Public Art Projects Manager; and Zack Boehler, Assistant Curator, Special Projects.

Hi-Vis was an invitational survey exhibition that celebrates the artists who have worked with the Buffalo AKG's Public Art Initiative. When these artworks were installed, they met an audience of hundreds of thousands——the highest form of visibility an artist could ask for. Hi-Vis allowed visitors closely and engage deeply with the practices behind the public art.

Over the first ten years of its existence, the Public Art Initiative created more than sixty works with eighty artists, including Jenny Kendler, who brought Milkweed Dispersal Balloons, 2014–2015 to the museum and created ReWilding Seed Stations, 2015 for the Buffalo region.
