Birds Watching II
2019
Birds Watching II was commissioned in 2019 as a permanent artwork for The Eden Project in Cornwall, UK.
Built in a reclaimed china clay pit, alongside its art program, Eden Project features a series of massive geodesic greenhouses which house thousands of plant species and emphasize the project's conservation driven mission.
Kendler worked with the Eden's ornithologists to create a site-specific list of one hundred climate-threatened and endangered birds for the second version of this work.
